Job Summary
Traveling Registered Nurse responsible for applying the nursing process to deliver individualized care across diverse patient populations. Collaborates with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care, including patient assessment, triage, education, and care coordination across preventative, diagnostic, treatment, and follow-up phases. Requires clinical proficiency, adherence to state Nurse Practice Act and professional standards, and eligibility for multistate licensure. Contracts are 14 weeks with the option to extend; positions involve travel across sites, 12-hour rotating shifts, and weekly pay with stipends included.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license
- Multistate licensure if in an NLC state
- At least one year of RN experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Ability to live at least 60 miles from location applied for
- Ability to obtain and maintain department-specific competencies and certifications
- Background screening and drug screen as condition of employment
