Job Summary
Travel RN position at Bemidji Medical Center seeking an experienced RN with at least 1 year of clinical experience and at least 6 months travel experience to provide individualized nursing care across patient populations. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation), patient assessment, education, triage, and coordinating care with inter-professional teams. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure, and adherence to applicable state Nurse Practice Act standards; 12-hour shifts, total 36 weekly hours, and a 14-week contract with possible extension or transfer to another Sanford site. Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in nursing has been noted; benefits include weekly pay with stipend included and Sanford benefits; drug screen and pre-employment background check required.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of RN experience
- At least six months of travel nursing experience
- Live at least 60 miles from Bemidji, MN location
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- RN license in the state or compact licensure
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
