Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) providing individualized care across inpatient settings on travel assignments. Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborating with physicians and other professionals. Responsibilities include patient assessment, education, triage, and coordination of care, while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and professional standards. Contracts are 14 weeks with potential extension or transfer to another Sanford site; eligible for Sanford benefits and weekly pay with stipend included. Requires AACN/ACEN/NLN CNEA-accredited program graduation, RN licensure (potential multi-state if NLC state), and travel experience; includes drug screening and pre-employment background screening.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program required
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs
- multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state
- one year of RN experience
- at least six months of travel experience
- live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- ability to pass drug screen and background check
