Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) traveling opportunity at Chamberlain Medical Center, Chamberlain, SD. Responsible for delivering nursing care using the nursing process across patient populations, collaborating with physicians and inter-professional colleagues, performing patient assessment, education, triage, and various nursing interventions, and ensuring care continuity within state practice standards. Requires a graduate from an accredited nursing program, RN licensure (multistate license if applicable), and at least 1 year of experience with at least 6 months of travel experience; Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. Contracts are 14 weeks with potential to extend or transfer to another Sanford site. Competitive weekly pay with benefits eligibility and a drug screen/background check. Strong emphasis on professional nursing standards, ethics, and ongoing competency in a full-scope clinical setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred; Current unencumbered RN license; multistate licensure if in NLC state; has at least 1 year of experience and 6 months of travel experience; live at least 60 miles from location; 14-week contract with option to extend; willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts; weekly pay with benefits eligibility; drug screen and background check required
