Job Summary
Travel RN opportunity at Chamberlain Medical Center in Chamberlain, SD. Provides individualized nursing care across the patient population using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation) and collaborates with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to coordinate care. Cares for patients through prevention, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up. Manages patient assessment, triage, and education, with responsibilities aligned to the Nurse Practice Act and applicable state rules. Contracts are 14 weeks with option to extend or transfer to another Sanford site; requires RN licensure and graduation from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is preferred. Requires at least 1 year of experience and at least 6 months of travel nursing experience; candidate must live at least 60 miles from the location applied for. Weekly pay includes stipend; Sanford benefits offered; drug screen and background check as part of employment process.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multistate licensure if in an NLC state
