Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides individualized nursing care across a travel assignment at Chamberlain Medical Center in Wagner, SD, utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) and collaborating with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Responsibilities include patient assessment, planning and coordination of care, patient education, triage, and various nursing interventions, while practicing within the Nurse Practice Act and applicable standards. Requires an RN license and at least one year of experience, plus at least six months of travel experience. Contracts are 14 weeks with the option to extend or move to another Sanford site; weekly pay with included stipends and Sanford benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program required
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multi-state licensure if in an NLC state
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- At least one year of nursing experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
