Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to patients using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan and coordinate care across the continuum of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Execute patient education, triage, and various nursing interventions while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Requires an unencumbered RN license, an accredited nursing degree (Bachelor's preferred), and competency in age/population-specific clinical settings. Weekly hours are 36.00 at Sanford Med Ctr Fargo with a starting rate of 2758.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
