Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for patients across all phases of the continuum, from preventative care to treatment and follow-up. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to coordinate care, perform patient triage, and deliver patient education. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards in the assigned clinical setting at Bemidji Medical Center. This 14-week contract includes a 60-mile live radius requirement and rotating 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
