Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to patients using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Coordinate care, conduct patient education, triage, and perform various nursing interventions within the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules. Work weekend shifts at Worthington Medical Center in Worthington, MN, with options for Friday through Sunday, 7:00pm to 7:30am, or variable shifts. Requires at least one year of experience and six months of travel experience, with a requirement to live at least 60 miles from the location. Earn a starting rate of $3010 weekly with a 14-week contract option to extend or move to another Sanford site.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Labor, Delivery, Postpartum and Newborns (Level 1 and Level 2) required
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
