Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and manage patient triage, education, and follow-up across the continuum of care. Assess patients, coordinate care plans, and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise as designated in the assigned clinical setting. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards while adhering to state practice rules and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. This 12-hour night shift requires at least one year of RN experience and six months of travel experience, with a requirement to live 60 miles from the Bismarck, ND location. Contracts are 14 weeks with options to extend or move to other Sanford sites.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Accept a drug screen
- Accept pre-employment background screening
