Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to patients using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Coordinate care, perform patient triage, and deliver patient education while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Work weekend shifts (Friday–Sunday) or variable night/weekend rotations at Worthington Medical Center. Requires at least one year of general nursing experience and six months of travel experience, with the ability to live 60 miles from the location. Earn a weekly starting rate of $3,010 with a 14-week contract option to extend or transfer to other Sanford sites.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Labor, Delivery, Postpartum and Newborns (Level 1 and Level 2) required
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
