Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on treatment plans, and coordinate patient education and triage. Manage patient assessment, outcomes planning, and implementation across all phases of preventative care and follow-up. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing practice as designated by the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Ensure care delivery aligns with age and population-specific standards in the assigned clinical setting. Live at least 60 miles from the location and complete six months of travel experience. Work rotating 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours weekly with a 14-week contract option.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Obtain a drug screen
- Pass pre-employment background screening
