Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan treatment, and coordinate patient assessments and education. Manage triage, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes across the continuum of care while adhering to state practice standards and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards within the assigned clinical setting. Requires at least one year of experience and six months of travel experience; live at least 60 miles from the location. 12-hour night shifts with 36 weekly hours. Contracts are 14 weeks with extension options.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Accept a drug screen as a condition of employment
- Accept pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
