Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on treatment plans, and coordinate patient assessments, education, and triage. Manage care across the continuum from preventative health to follow-up while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain competency through required department certifications and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise. Requires at least one year of RN experience, six months of travel experience, and a Bachelor's degree preferred. Live 60 miles from the Bismarck, ND location for 12-hour night shifts. Contracts are 14 weeks with options to extend or relocate to other Sanford sites.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
