Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and manage patient triage, education, and follow-up across the continuum of care. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards for assessment, diagnosis, and outcomes planning. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards while supporting patients in preventative care, health maintenance, and diagnosis phases. This role supports underserved communities through travel staffing at Sanford Med Ctr Fargo in Fargo, ND. Weekly hours are 36.00 with a starting rate of $2,758. Candidates must hold an unencumbered RN license and a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
