Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on care plans, and manage patient assessment, education, and triage. Deliver preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment across the continuum of care while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain competency in age and population-specific clinical settings and coordinate care for patients moving through various phases. Requires at least one year of RN experience, six months of travel experience, and residence within 60 miles of Bemidji, MN. Shifts are 12 hours rotating with a 36-hour weekly schedule and a 14-week contract option.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
