Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on care plans, and manage patient triage, education, and follow-up across the continuum. Assess patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and coordinate care for patients moving through various stages of their health journey. This 12-hour rotating shift requires at least one year of RN experience and six months of travel experience, with a requirement to live within 60 miles of Bemidji, MN. Contracts are 14 weeks with options to extend or move to other Sanford sites.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
