Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage across the continuum of care. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Care for patients in all phases of preventative care, diagnosis, and follow-up while practicing according to age and population-specific standards in the assigned clinical setting. Live at least 60 miles from Bemidji, MN, and work rotating 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours weekly. Contracts are 14 weeks with an option to extend or relocate to another Sanford site.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
