Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage across the continuum of care. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Cares for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up while maintaining competency in assigned clinical settings. Requires at least one year of experience and six months of travel experience, with a live location requirement of 60 miles from Bemidji, MN. Contracts are 14 weeks with weekly pay including stipend.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
