Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to patients using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues, such as physicians, to plan and evaluate care across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Coordinate patient care, conduct patient education, perform triage, and execute various nursing interventions within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Maintain competency in age and population-specific clinical standards for the assigned setting.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Accepts a drug screen
- Accepts pre-employment background screening
