Job Summary
Conduct individualized nursing care for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes while collaborating with physicians to coordinate care. Perform patient education, triage, and various nursing interventions within the scope and standards of practice outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules. Maintain competency and certifications required by the department and adhere to the Code of Ethics for Nurses. Requires an unencumbered RN license, a Bachelor's degree preferred, and 36 weekly hours at a starting rate of $2758.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Pass a drug screen
- Pass pre-employment background screening
