Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to patients using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care across the continuum of health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Manage patient triage, patient education, and various nursing interventions while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. This rotating shift role at Chamberlain Medical Center in Chamberlain, SD, requires a minimum of one year of RN experience and six months of travel experience. Candidates must live at least 60 miles from the location. The position offers a starting rate of $3010 weekly with a 14-week contract option, including a stipend and eligibility for Sanford benefits.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience

- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
