Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to patients, collaborating with physicians to plan, implement, and evaluate treatment across the continuum of health maintenance, diagnosis, and follow-up. Manage patient assessment, triage, education, and various nursing interventions while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain competency in age and population-specific clinical settings for all phases of preventative care and treatment. This 14-week contract includes a weekly stipend and offers Sanford benefits. Applicants must hold at least one year of experience and six months of travel experience, living within 60 miles of the Bemidji, MN location.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Pass a drug screen
- Pass pre-employment background screening
