Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to patients across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate outcomes while collaborating with physicians and inter-professional colleagues. Manage patient triage, education, and various nursing interventions within the scope and standards of practice outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards designated in the assigned clinical setting at Bemidji Medical Center. Work rotating 12-hour shifts totaling 36 weekly hours with a 14-week contract option to extend or move to another Sanford site.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
