Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage across all phases of the continuum. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards for age and population-specific care. Maintain competency in department-specific certifications while ensuring patient safety and outcomes. Requires at least one year of general nursing experience and six months of travel experience, with a requirement to live at least 60 miles from Bemidji, MN. Earn a weekly salary of $3,262 with a 14-week contract option, including travel stipends and access to Sanford benefits.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Accept a drug screen as a condition of employment
- Accept pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
