Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on care plans, and manage patient triage and education across all phases of the continuum. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Assess patients, coordinate care, and implement interventions while maintaining competency in age and population-specific clinical settings. Maintain an unencumbered RN license, hold at least one year of experience with six months of travel experience, and live within 60 miles of the Bismarck, ND location. Work 12-hour night shifts for 36 weekly hours with a 14-week contract option.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
