Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to patients using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with physicians to plan and coordinate care across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Perform patient education, triage, and various nursing interventions while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. This 12-hour rotating shift requires 36 weekly hours with a salary of $3,262. Candidates must live at least 60 miles from Bemidji, MN, and hold at least one year of RN experience plus six months of travel experience. Contracts are 14 weeks with extension options.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
