Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes while collaborating with physicians and inter-professional colleagues. Manage patient triage, education, and care coordination within the scope of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards for the assigned clinical setting at Bismarck Med Ctr.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass pre-employment background screening
