Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including patient assessment, education, triage, and coordination across all phases of the continuum. Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues to plan and implement care while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards within the assigned clinical setting at Bemidji Medical Center. Live at least 60 miles from the location and hold at least one year of RN experience with six months of travel experience. Contracts are 14 weeks with weekly pay including stipend, rotating 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Pass a drug screen
- Pass pre-employment background screening
