Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on care plans, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage. Manage patient care across the continuum of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain competency in age and population-specific clinical settings for patients in Bemidji, MN. This 14-week contract includes a 60-mile minimum distance requirement and weekly pay with included stipend. Sanford offers health, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits for eligible staff.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
