Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and manage patient triage, education, and follow-up. Assess patients across the continuum of care while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain competency in age-specific standards and departmental certifications within the full scope of nursing expertise. This 36-hour weekly travel assignment at Sanford Med Ctr Fargo in Fargo, ND, supports underserved communities nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Accept a drug screen as a condition of employment
- Accept pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
