Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and manage patient triage, education, and follow-up across the continuum of care. Assess patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, and diagnosis while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing expertise. Coordinate care plans and implement interventions in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. This 12-hour night shift role at Bismarck Med Ctr requires a minimum of one year of RN experience and six months of travel experience, with applicants living at least 60 miles from the location. Contracts are 14 weeks with the option to extend or relocate to other Sanford sites.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
