Job Summary
Conduct individualized nursing care for patients across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up using the nursing process. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care while triaging and educating patients. Manage labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborns at Level 1 and Level 2 facilities, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain competency in age and population-specific clinical settings. Weekend shifts required with 36 weekly hours; starting rate $3010. Live at least 60 miles from the location.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Labor, Delivery, Postpartum and Newborns (Level 1 and Level 2) required
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
