Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage across all phases of the continuum. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and standards designated in the assigned clinical setting at Bemidji Medical Center. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Requires at least one year of RN experience, six months of travel experience, and a Bachelor's degree preferred. Live at least 60 miles from the location.
Required Qualifications

- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
