Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on care plans, and coordinate patient assessments, education, and triage. Manage patient care across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up while adhering to state practice standards and the Nurse Practice Act. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards within the assigned clinical setting at Bemidji Medical Center. This 12-hour rotating shift covers 36 weekly hours with a $3,262 weekly rate including stipend. Contracts are 14 weeks with extension options. Applicants must live at least 60 miles from the location and hold one year of RN experience with six months of travel experience.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require pre-employment background screening
