Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to patients using the nursing process across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing expertise. Manage patient assessment, education, triage, and various nursing interventions in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Maintain unencumbered RN licensure and required department-specific certifications. Live at least 60 miles from the Bemidji location for this 14-week contract with rotating 12-hour shifts.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
