Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for patients across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to coordinate care, manage triage, and provide patient education within the scope of nursing practice outlined in the Nurse Practice Act. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards for the assigned clinical setting at Bismarck Med Ctr. Requires at least one year of experience, six months of travel experience, and residency 60 miles from the location. Night shifts run 12 hours weekly for 36 hours total.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Obtain a drug screen
- Pass pre-employment background screening
