Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to patients using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues, such as physicians, to plan and coordinate care across the continuum of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Execute patient education, triage, and various nursing interventions while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Live at least 60 miles from the Bemidji, MN location and maintain a unencumbered RN license. Work rotating 12-hour shifts totaling 36 weekly hours with a 14-week contract option.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass pre-employment background screening
