Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to patients across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Collaborate with physicians to plan, implement, and evaluate care while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and standards. Manage patient assessment, education, triage, and various nursing interventions in compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Requires an unencumbered RN license, accredited nursing degree, and multistate licensure if applicable. Weekly hours are 36.00 at Sanford Med Ctr Fargo with a starting rate of $2758.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Pass a drug screen
- Pass pre-employment background screening
