Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for patients across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to coordinate care, perform patient triage, and provide education. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Live at least 60 miles from the Bismarck, ND location and hold at least one year of RN experience with six months of travel experience. Secure an unencumbered RN license and complete required department-specific certifications. Work 36 weekly hours on 12-hour night shifts with a 14-week contract option.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass pre-employment background screening
