Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and manage patient triage, education, and follow-up across the continuum of care. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, adhering to state Nurse Practice Act standards and American Nurses Association guidelines. Assess patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, and diagnosis while coordinating care plans and implementing appropriate interventions. Maintain unencumbered RN licensure and complete required department-specific competencies. Work 12-hour night shifts totaling 36 hours weekly at Bismarck Med Ctr, with a stipend included in the pay rate. Contracts are 14 weeks with extension options.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
