Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on treatment plans, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage. Manage patients across the continuum of care including preventative measures, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain competency in age and population-specific clinical standards within the assigned setting at Bismarck Med Ctr. Requires one year of experience, six months of travel experience, and living 60 miles from the location.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
