Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and coordinate patient assessments, education, and triage across the continuum of care. Manage patient safety and follow the scope of practice outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain competency through required department-specific certifications and adhere to age and population-specific clinical standards. This 12-hour night shift position requires at least one year of general nursing experience and six months of travel experience. Candidates must live at least 60 miles from the Bismarck, ND location. Weekly pay ranges from $3,010 to $3,794, including a stipend, with 14-week contracts available for extension.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
