Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborating with physicians to plan, implement, and evaluate treatment for patients across the continuum of care. Manage patient assessment, triage, education, and preventative health maintenance while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain competency in age and population-specific clinical settings within the full scope of nursing expertise. This 14-week rotating contract requires at least one year of RN experience and six months of travel history, with applicants living 60 miles from Chamberlain, SD. Weekly pay of $3010 includes a stipend, alongside eligibility for Sanford health, dental, and vision benefits.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Pass a drug screen
- Pass pre-employment background screening
