Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to patients using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan and coordinate care across the continuum, from preventative health maintenance to treatment and follow-up. Manage patient triage, education, and various nursing interventions while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act, state licensure standards, and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards within the assigned clinical setting at Sanford Med Ctr Fargo.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Accept a drug screen as a condition of employment
- Accept pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
