Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to patients using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to coordinate care across preventative, diagnostic, and treatment phases. Manage patient triage, education, and follow-up while adhering to state Nurse Practice Act standards and American Nurses Association ethics. Maintain competency in age and population-specific clinical standards within the assigned setting. Requires at least one year of experience and six months of travel experience, with a live location at least 60 miles from Chamberlain, SD.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Accept a drug screen
- Accept pre-employment background screening
