Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage. Manage the full continuum of care from preventative health maintenance through diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up while adhering to state licensure and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards within the assigned clinical setting at Sanford Med Ctr Fargo. Requires an unencumbered RN license and a Bachelor's degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
