Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and coordinate patient assessments, education, and triage across the continuum of care. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, adhering to state licensure standards and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Manage preventative care, health maintenance, and follow-up for patients in assigned clinical settings while maintaining required department-specific competencies. Requires at least one year of experience and six months of travel experience, with a weekly schedule of 36 hours including rotating 12-hour shifts. Live at least 60 miles from Bemidji, MN, and hold an unencumbered RN license. Contracts are 14 weeks with options to extend or move to other Sanford sites.
Required Qualifications

- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
