Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on care plans, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage. Deliver interventions across the continuum of care, including preventative health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up, while adhering to state practice standards and the Nurse Practice Act. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards within your assigned clinical setting at Bismarck Med Ctr. This 12-hour night shift role requires 36 weekly hours and at least one year of RN experience with six months of travel background. Candidates must live 60 miles from the location. Contracts are 14 weeks with an option to extend or move to another Sanford site. Weekly pay includes a stipend, and eligible staff receive Sanford benefits.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
