Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to patients using the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care across the continuum of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Manage patient triage, education, and various nursing interventions while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Maintain competency in age and population-specific clinical standards within the assigned setting at Bismarck Med Ctr. Work 12-hour night shifts totaling 36 hours weekly with a 14-week contract option.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Accept a drug screen
- Accept pre-employment background screening
